The DNA of 3D Tech

The synergy between

aerospace engineering and sailing

El ADN de 3D Tech Nico

Passion for precision,
obsession with detail.

Nicolás Careaga

Profile

As an engineering student, I apply engineering methodology, tight tolerances and aerodynamics to every project. As a sailor, I know that the difference between winning and losing comes down to small details.

Resilience

Sailing demands agility and a deep connection with your crewmate. That same mindset of adaptation and response is what defines the 3D Tech service.

Our workshop: two machines that complement each other

Each project goes to the printer that suits it best. With this combination we cover everything from strong technical parts to full-color work.

Elegoo Centauri Carbon 3D printer at 3D Tech, with an enclosed chamber
Strength

Elegoo Centauri Carbon

For functional parts and technical materials.

  • Enclosed chamber, ideal for materials such as ASA
  • Hardened steel nozzle, suitable for carbon fiber filaments
  • Print temperature up to 320 °C
  • Build volume of 256 × 256 × 256 mm
Snapmaker U1 3D printer at 3D Tech with its four toolheads and colored spools
Color

Snapmaker U1

For multicolor printing and fine detail.

  • Four independent toolheads: up to four colors in the same part
  • Toolhead changes in seconds and far less material waste
  • Good prices and lead times for logos, merchandise and decorative parts
  • Build volume of 270 × 270 × 270 mm

Parts larger than that volume are split into sections and joined with a clean finish. Tell us about your project and we will tell you how we would solve it.
