Engineering projects

Have a design in mind and want to make it real? We print your ideas in hours. We work with PETG and ABS for parts that need mechanical and thermal strength, among other materials.

If you are an engineering student, send us your design and make your project real.

Multicolor printing

Ideal for logos, complex decorative parts and corporate gifts. We bring your designs to life in full color, without limits!

Looking for keychains, merchandise or parts with visual impact? Thanks to our multi-toolhead technology, we print in several colors at once with flawless finishes and minimal material waste, which lets us offer better prices and record lead times.

Custom solutions | Replacement parts

If you have the broken part or a hand-drawn sketch, we take care of the rest. Fast solutions for specific problems.

Did a part break and you can no longer find it? We make custom industrial replacement parts.

3D solutions for the nautical sector

Visit our Online store to see our original designs, or ask us for that special part your boat needs.

Give your project the professional level it deserves!

Forget cardboard and glue. We print your models with clean finishes and precise dimensions. Ideal for graduation presentations or projects.

Materials we use and when each one makes sense

We print mostly in PETG and PLA, and we also work with ABS, ASA, TPU and carbon-fiber or glass-fiber filaments. Choosing the right material is half of making a part that lasts.

Material comparison

MaterialBest forStrengthsKeep in mind
PLAPrototypes, models, decorative parts and merchandiseVery good detail and finish, fast printing, affordableSoftens with heat (around 55 to 60 °C): not a good idea to leave it in the sun inside a car
PETGFunctional parts, nautical accessories and replacement partsResistant to impact, moisture and water; a good balance between strength and ease of printingWithstands up to about 70 °C and is somewhat less rigid than PLA
ABSTechnical parts with mechanical and thermal demandsResistant to impact and higher temperatures; can be sanded and polishedNeeds an enclosed printer and good ventilation; it shrinks as it cools, so it is not ideal for very large parts
ASAParts exposed to sun and weatherResists UV rays and higher temperatures (over 90 °C)Needs an enclosed printer; somewhat higher cost and print times
TPUGaskets, bumpers, protectors and flexible partsElastic, absorbs impact and vibrationPrints more slowly and is not suited to rigid parts
Carbon fiber or glass fiberLightweight structural parts and bracketsHigh rigidity and dimensional stabilityHigher cost and a matte finish

Values are approximate: they vary with the filament brand, the design and the thickness of the part. If in doubt, tell us what you will use it for and we will recommend the right one on WhatsApp.

Frequently asked questions about 3D printing

What people ask us most before ordering a part. If you do not find your question, message us on WhatsApp.

How much does 3D printing cost in Argentina?

The price varies with size, material and complexity. At 3D Tech, small PLA parts start at ARS $5,000 (Argentine pesos). Send us your file on WhatsApp for an exact quote.

What file formats do you accept?

We work with STL, STEP, 3MF and OBJ files. If you do not have a file, we can model your part from a photo, a drawing or a physical prototype, as long as it is not an artistic piece.

Do you ship, and do you ship abroad?

Yes. Within Argentina we ship anywhere with Andreani; ask us about delivery times for your area. Ordering from abroad? Message us on WhatsApp with your country and we will arrange shipping and payment together.

Which materials do you work with?

We print mostly in PETG and PLA. We also work with ABS, ASA, TPU and composite filaments with carbon fiber or glass fiber, depending on what each part needs.

What is the difference between PLA and PETG?

PLA is ideal for prototypes, models and decorative parts: it gives very good detail and prints fast, but it softens with heat. PETG resists impact, moisture and water better, so it suits functional parts, replacement parts and nautical accessories.

Which material is best for a nautical part?

For most accessories that will be in contact with water and moisture we recommend PETG, the same material our Regatta Strategy Kit is printed in. If the part will be exposed to the sun for long periods, ASA is a good alternative because it resists UV rays.

Can you print in several colors?

Yes. With the Snapmaker U1 we print up to four colors in the same part, with clean finishes and little material waste. It is ideal for logos, merchandise and decorative parts.

What is the maximum size of a part?

A part fits in a single print up to 256 mm per side on the Elegoo Centauri Carbon and up to 270 mm per side on the Snapmaker U1. Larger parts are split into sections and joined with a clean finish.

How do I know which material to choose for my project?

Tell us what you will use it for: whether it goes in water or sun, whether it needs to be flexible or very rigid. With that we recommend the material and how to print it. Message us on WhatsApp or through the contact page.
